Finishing Production

Today marks the end of filming, and it’s been a crazy experience. It’s always nice to wrap up a shoot, but I’m feeling incredibly grateful for this experience. From the very beginning, I knew that this project was going to be somewhat difficult. The script was incredible, the cast was amazing, and the crew was top-notch. It’s been an honor to work alongside with my group. I was eager for the arrival of the last day of filming. There’s a sense of relief that comes with knowing that all the hard work is done. This project has been my life for the past few weeks, and it’s going to be strange not seeing these people every day. As I pack up my things and say my goodbyes, I can’t help but think about all the experience we had filming. There have been long days at the mall, but there have also been moments of laughter and joy. In the first scene- There are multiple scenic views of the city. It will keep changing locations until we get into the actual story. In the second scene- A man with a suitcase is walking around the city trying to get to his job. He is going to be wearing regular clothes to show that it is not a highly professional job. In the third scene- The man with the briefcase is still walking but who just cam from a dark alleyway is now following the man with the suitcase. In the fourth scene- The man is following the guy with the briefcase in many locations. It will cut to the different places in the city just like in scene 1. In the fifth scene- The man with the briefcase sits to eat lunch and the guy following him hides behind a tree to try to blend in so he won't be caught. In the sixth scene- The guy with the briefcase throws away his lunch but leaves the briefcase unattended. This makes it the perfect chance to steal the briefcase. In the seventh scene- The man...

Genre Choice

Based on the research we did for the blogs, we feel as though mystery will fit best for our movie. This genre really would climb as the film goes on. By the end of the film is where we find our solution or our ending. This inspired us as a whole as we are trying to create a film that has to do with suspicion. It would really draw the audience attention. I feel like our pitch really fits in with this genre. If in the future we would have to tweak it, it wouldn't be a problem. We weren't thinking to add dialogue at first as our idea, but it might be the thing that we need to add. As stated previously, the mystery genre has a decent popularity in films nowadays. The wide variety of aspects and work that goes into these films really brings it all together. Which further creates something that truly represents mystery.
