Production blog: Sebastian's House
Filming blog:
All four of us, including myself, went out to film on Saturday, November 27th. Everyone showed up, and with the exception of Chad and Ethan, due to the fact that we were not in any of the previously filmed scenes, we all dressed in matching outfits. This time we started with scene 4, which was the continuation of me and Sebastian's stalking. I went near Sebastian's house this time because there were other communities nearby that we needed to use to bounce between different spots. After that, we decided to travel to a park to film scene 5. In this scene, Sebastian places his briefcase on a park seat and leaves it there while he attends to something else, while Chad hides behind a tree. Chad went for the briefcase in scene 6, and as you can see, Sebastian is discarding something he found in the palm of his hand A panning shot is what you'll find here. All of this took about 3 hours to film because the most difficult part was getting to the locations because we went everywhere to various neighborhoods and parks. Another issue we had was completing this before nightfall in order to make this our recording day with no issues. He attends to something else, while Chad hides behind a tree. Chad went for the briefcase in scene 6, and as you can see, Sebastian is discarding something he found.
Editing blog: Time before Sunset After we finished recording, I went to Sebastian's house so I could edit what we got so far. We used my laptop for this feat as it had all the other filming we had done the week before. So when I started editing, I immediately started to go through each video we made and started to see if they were good enough. I took multiple scenes so we could go back and look which one looked better to us. Once I found the ones that we liked best, I started cutting them to make them shorter by getting rid of all the other unnecessary parts found within. So once we got our video clips, I put them in the right order of whence we filmed. When we watched what we filmed so far, the whole video looked good, but we needed to make sure that our video had fit into the time frame because it was getting quite long. The editing process took around 20 minutes to get all the details sorted out.
