Hope you enjoy my video!

Final task

We finally came to a conclusion in our video. We are impressed with our results. I, as the editor was majorly impressed on how much I did. Learning the new features on these editing platform benefited me in many ways. Because of this I was able to make our video flow properly in audio and visual appeal.

Me and Chad started a call so we could both work on the editing process. First, we would have liked to search out a editing software that was perfect for this video. We both decided to use the editing software called CapCut, because we were the foremost acquainted with it. So we got working with the project by getting all the clips we recorded. Ethan sent them over to me and he added the clips within the project. Since me and Chad weren't together in person, he told me whatever changes he'd like to be added to our opening over call. I asked Chad to call me because I was slightly confused on what changes he requested to be made. Thankfully he was able to assist me and somewhat guide me on every step. Once I put the clips together, I had to trim them to form them shorter. I did this because the video was long than 2 minutes which was the desired amount. The more opinions we had the better we could adjust problems in our opening scene. As we're nearing the due date our group ma

After the peer review, we decided to change what people are saying about our movies. I noticed low audio and background noise. Apart from the sound effects, the quality has also been improved to make it look more like a movie. So it has greatly improved our overall video. The output quality has been greatly improved. Improving video quality using another software called Youcut was much better. Capcut didn't provide this feature, so by letting Youcut render the video, I was able to have the video in 1080p after editing. I did this because the video was longer than the length I wanted, 2 minutes. Another reason  the clip is cropped is that it contains content that is not for  video. This included unnecessary stories, laughter, and asking if it was correct. It took 1 minute and 59 seconds to finish assembling and trimming the video, but it was within the deadline. Looking at it, I noticed that there was a problem with my voice. Ethan's iPhone 13 couldn't hear us enough. This c

So on the 9th of April me, Ethan and Chad went to extend our video. We released we were about 28 seconds short however we decided to take advantages of this. This allowed us to further improve our video with the given seconds remaining. After the peer review we was able to pinpoint areas that lacked in our film. The overall atmosphere on this Saturday was perfect for recording. No rain and the area was not crowded with many people. We were able to begin filming smoothly. Although Sebastian hadn't shown up due to his sickness we were able to complete a good portion of our opening in only our first day recording. We found a vacant area near the soccer field and decided to record in this area. We needed a suitable place that best fit the images from our storyboard. After strolling around for a minute we then found the perfect place. Trees and grass best suited the environment we had in mind for our opening scene. Ethan being the director and cameraman then recording some scenes that t

After a month we finally received our license to use our selected songs after Chad was able to get in contact with a person on Instagram. This was one of our greatest achievements yet. Now we're able to use two songs we wanted in our music video. With these soundtracks playing in our film the video will come off more naturally. With gaining our license we'll be able to move forward with our film. Not only that but we are now able to focus on other aspects such as the editing portion of our film. The two songs we selected were to fit the theme of our film. Me and Chad for the most part selected what we thought would fit in the most. We came to agree with the rest of our group that the songs we selected matched the vibe of our videos. The songs fit perfectly with our scenes and complemented the thrill effect. We're now establishing how we should incorporate the themes into our video overall. We're looking for ways can edit the music to make our film in general better or i

After asking several peers we gathered opinion of how people felt about our film. Their responses were constructive which really gave us an Idea of how we can improve our film. People mentioned that they could feel the overall emotion in the battles. The suspenseful moments caught their eye quite quickly upon only just now seeing the characters. The angles were thought out carefully and executed in the right way. The sound effects were relatively as close as possible as can be. The facial expressions gradually shifted all throughout the film. The first 21 seconds of walking took too long. The voices were too low to a certain extent The scenery was rather bright and didn't match the overall aesthetic of the Dialogue between characters. The running in the battle felt a little delayed and too weak The sword was conveniently placed by a tree without any thorough explanation. The impact of the hits during the battle seemed a little more fast forward. The ending had me wondering what wou
