Me and Chad started a call so we could both work on the editing process. First, we would have liked to search out a editing software that was perfect for this video. We both decided to use the editing software called CapCut, because we were the foremost acquainted with it. So we got working with the project by getting all the clips we recorded. Ethan sent them over to me and he added the clips within the project. Since me and Chad weren't together in person, he told me whatever changes he'd like to be added to our opening over call. I asked Chad to call me because I was slightly confused on what changes he requested to be made. Thankfully he was able to assist me and somewhat guide me on every step. Once I put the clips together, I had to trim them to form them shorter. I did this because the video was long than 2 minutes which was the desired amount.The more opinions we had the better we could adjust problems in our opening scene. As we're nearing the due date our group making sure the final mp4 of our video is in best quality. The more in depth we became with our editing the more we realized mobile editing was the best way for us to create this considering our flexibility in being able to get our ideas across quicker to each other. Using more simple and basic made it easier for everyone in our group to understand changes made to the commercial. Editing the scenes to transition better across is making the overall film better from my viewpoint. As long as we continue editing the rest of the films the opening scene will be great. We mostly have to persevere through getting the footage. Although we had to recover some missing things in our edit we still managed. With the advice given to us by several people we learned how to improve our film through our editing. This was a huge success for us. We saw major improvement.

Genre Choice

Based on the research we did for the blogs, we feel as though mystery will fit best for our movie. This genre really would climb as the film goes on. By the end of the film is where we find our solution or our ending. This inspired us as a whole as we are trying to create a film that has to do with suspicion. It would really draw the audience attention. I feel like our pitch really fits in with this genre. If in the future we would have to tweak it, it wouldn't be a problem. We weren't thinking to add dialogue at first as our idea, but it might be the thing that we need to add. As stated previously, the mystery genre has a decent popularity in films nowadays. The wide variety of aspects and work that goes into these films really brings it all together. Which further creates something that truly represents mystery.
