I was very excited to go to the mall to record for our film. I had been planning for this for weeks as I was ready to record some scenes with the group. When we arrived at the mall, I quickly sat up some of the equipment we would need to film. We managed to record just a few seconds of a scene until unfortunately the mall closed at an early time causing us to postpone some of our other scenes. Although we managed to record half of one scene I wish we were able to cover more footage accordingly to our storyboard. It was already tough with all of us having to figure out some way to get there. Transportation seemed to be the toughest part of filming. We have another date to film however for now I'll be editing the footage we managed to cover. I expect that we should be able to get done with 2 to 3 scenes in our next filming session. The mall seemed crowded with people at first but later on less people were there. This allowed us to film better without outside disturbances. The mall just happened to be somewhat busy today. I don't expect the same occurrence for our next time filming. It really proved to be a hinderance as we tried moving to multiple different areas around the mall to try and find a spot where not much people would be cramped up in the background of our video. Although people were in the way we still managed to almost finish one scene. The next time we arrive we should be able to finish this scene. Worst case scenario is that we would have to move to another mall to film instead. Hopefully we don't suffer from the same experience next time when trying to film. Our next filming should be more productive since transportation should be easier to get. I look forward to our next film session.
