Group Blog

Hello! This year I will be having new group members. They are comprised of Withly, Melvin, and Jennifer. Since my old buds had no intention of taking the A level variant of this class they ended up leaving. However, I still managed to find new groupmates for this class. I am excited to see what we all come up with for our film in the end. Last year might've been a tad rough however, I have better hope for this year. Hopefully I still am able to play the editor role for this film as well. I can't wait to see what my group mates specialties are as we pursue the ending of Mediastudies. Last year I came into the class mostly confused about what was expected and how everything should be done, however this year I am more confident in being able to succeed. As for my group I hope we're all coming into A level with a healthier mentality. We are all accustomed to what should be expected of us from this class now. I joined this group because I believe we'll have great synergy in getting blogs in and things done. Hopefully we don't live too far apart. The only future problem I can foresee is transportation problems however, we should be able to tackle that issue. We as a group will strive further and exceed our expectations. AS level might have been challenging to us, however it has prepared us for A level. They're may be challenges further down the road however, we should be able to find a way and overcome it. As a group we will succeed. As a group we'll strive!

Our group that consists of Chad, Sebastian, and I will feature the Nintendo Switch and all its features. Now our commercial will start with the iconic nintendo switch intro. This is found on all of nintendo switch's commercial intros. It lasts around 2 seconds so this will not take up any filming time that we need. The next panel is where we look at the nintendo switch game menu. This menu will have to showcase to the viewer what the games you can play. In this scene, we will also be entering a game and showing small gameplay. The third scene will show us playing a game together with the screen. Genre Choice

Based on the research we did for the blogs, we feel as though mystery will fit best for our movie. This genre really would climb as the film goes on. By the end of the film is where we find our solution or our ending. This inspired us as a whole as we are trying to create a film that has to do with suspicion. It would really draw the audience attention. I feel like our pitch really fits in with this genre. If in the future we would have to tweak it, it wouldn't be a problem. We weren't thinking to add dialogue at first as our idea, but it might be the thing that we need to add. As stated previously, the mystery genre has a decent popularity in films nowadays.
