Group Blog

As we begin our new film I stick with my old teammates. My old teammates consisted of just me, Chad and Sebastian. During our music video we had Ethan as an addition to our group. With Ethan now as our 4th member we are able to work equally and more fairly divide work amongst us. We can come up with ideas quicker now that our group has expanded. For our future film we will need to be able to come up with essential ideas needed. As we near our time to begin filming we've brainstormed in several different areas. For now we're mostly focused on selecting our genre for our film and which tracks we'd like to use from artist. More so about our group I believe my group is balanced in the aspects needed to get this film done. With me having experience in video editing I could potentially be the video editor for this film. Ethan has proved to have amazing directing skills allowing us to quickly gather scenes needed in our film. Chad and Sebastian are great actors. Though they are great actors I believe we'll all act regardless of who's better actor in our film. We have the skills necessary in for the film we'll just need to be able work efficiently. As a group we'll need to select where we film and when we film. Ethan has access to an iPhone camera providing exceptional quality. This is perfect for recording our film in 1080p. My group is able to provide benefits in several ways. Although we sometimes won't agree in certain aspects of our future film we'll still manage to find a way to make it work. We are highly collaborative and we're looking forward to our future film made together.

Our group that consists of Chad, Sebastian, and I will feature the Nintendo Switch and all its features. Now our commercial will start with the iconic nintendo switch intro. This is found on all of nintendo switch's commercial intros. It lasts around 2 seconds so this will not take up any filming time that we need. The next panel is where we look at the nintendo switch game menu. This menu will have to showcase to the viewer what the games you can play. In this scene, we will also be entering a game and showing small gameplay. The third scene will show us playing a game together with the screen. This scene is meant to showcase how everyone can play together at the same time. This scene can also show a game being played and what to do which is promoting both the console and the game. Genre Choice

Based on the research we did for the blogs, we feel as though mystery will fit best for our movie. This genre really would climb as the film goes on. By the end of the film is where we find our solution or our ending. This inspired us as a whole as we are trying to create a film that has to do with suspicion. It would really draw the audience attention. I feel like our pitch really fits in with this genre. If in the future we would have to tweak it, it wouldn't be a problem. We weren't thinking to add dialogue at first as our idea, but it might be the thing that we need to add. As stated previously, the mystery genre has a decent popularity in films nowadays. The wide variety of aspects and work that goes into these films really brings it all together. Which further creates something that truly represents mystery.
